Tryouts for Hoop Club set

Tryouts for the Forest Lake Hoop Club competitive traveling basketball teams at the A and B levels have been set for Sept. 9-14.

Boys and girls in grades 5-9 are welcome to try out. There is no fee to try out, but costs during the season for players selected for the teams is approximately $250-$320.

Teams will play approximately 10 tournaments during the season, which begins in November and ends in mid March.

Times and places for tryouts are as follows:

ï 5th grade boys ñÝ6:30-8:30 p.m., Sept. 9 & 10 at Century Junior High Court A.

ï 6th grade boys ñÝ6:30-8:30 p.m., Sept. 9 & 10 at Central Learning Center Main Gym.

ï 7th grade boys ñÝ6:30-8:30 p.m., Sept. 12 & 13 at Central Learning Center Main Gym.

ïÝ8th grade boys ñÝ6:30-8:30 p.m., Sept. 9 & 10 at Century Junior High Court B.

ïÝ9th grade boys ñÝ6:30-8:30 p.m., Sept. 9 & 10 at Century Junior High Court C.

ï 5th grade girls ñÝ6:30-8 p.m., Sept. 9 & 10 at Southwest Junior High West Gym.

ïÝ6th grade girls ñÝ6:30-8 p.m., Sept. 12 & 13 at Century Junior High Court B.

ïÝ7th grade girls ñ 7-8:30 p.m., Sept. 12 & 13 at Century Junior High Court C.

ïÝ8th grade girls ñÝ7-8:30 p.m., Sept. 12 & 13 at Century Junior High Court A.

ïÝ9th grade girls ñÝ7-8:30 p.m., Sept. 9 & 10 at Southwest Junior High East Gym.

Additional sessions if needed will be at the high school gyms on Saturday, Sept. 14. Check with coaches about potential additional sessions.

During the tryouts, only head coaches, coordinators, evaluators and players will be allowed in the gyms.

Players must attend all tryout sessions for their respective teams.
