Posted: 7/10/02 Plan in place to replace BoyerResidents of ISD 831 who are interested in serving on the school board have until July 31 to submit a resume and a letter of interest stating why they would like to fill a vacant seat on the board. The school board is seeking candidates to fill the seat left open by Clyde Boyerís move to Florida. His term runs through Dec. 31, 2003. Interested candidates must be 21, a resident of the district for 30 days and not a convicted sex offender. The school district will receive applications through this month. At its meeting on Monday, Aug. 5, board members will select candidates for interviews. The board hopes to fill the vacancy in September. At Mondayís meeting, the board elected member Joe Grafft vice president to fill Boyerís duties in that capacity. |
