Hosanna Lutheran will add 2nd service

Nearly three weeks removed from a devastating fire, the congregation at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Forest Lake is now moving forward with a second Sunday service.

Pastor Michael Sparby said the second service will take place at Century Junior High School at 10:30 a.m. It will follow the 9:30 a.m. service at Lakeside Memorial Park.

The churchís Vacation Bible School will start as planned on Monday, June 24, he said. The youth summer program will be at Forest Hills United Methodist Church in Forest Lake. The previously cancelled 5 p.m. Saturday services will resume in August at Messiah Lutheran Church, he said.

The church has established a recovery fund for anyone who wishes to help with the cause. Donations can be sent to Hosanna Lutheran Church, 9300 Scandia Trail N., Forest Lake, MN 55025.
