Forest Lake 5 Theatre is open

After two years of sitting idle, the Forest Lake 5 Theatre is back in business. The five-screen theater next to Northland Mall on US-61 south opened last weekend and the turnout met business expectations, said owner Kent Rebeck. Some 250 area residents dropped in for the open house Thursday night and toured the remodeled facility. Here, counter workers Becky Daschel, right, and Henri Tessier serve popcorn.
