91st FLHS commencement is June 6

When Forest Lake High School completes its 91st annual commencement program tonight (Thursday), 550 seniors will receive diplomas, Principal Mark Robertson said.

The annual commencement program is set for 7:30 p.m. at the Forest Lake High School Athletic Complex. Admission is by ticket only.

The program will include student speeches by Nancy Waldoch and Alice Wagner.

The program will include musical presentations by the Forest Lake High School Band and seniors from the concert choir, a song by students Jenny Baird, Emily Carlson, Crystal Gaalaas, Emily Naylon and Nancy Waldoch, and ìGoodbyes,î written and performed by Ben Hanson.

Members of the ISD 831 Board of Education will present diplomas. Principal Robertson will present the highest academic honors awards.

Following the commencement program, the audience is invited to join the graduates on the infield for a short period of socializing.

In the event of rain, the program will take place in the high school gymnasium.
