FL police investigate burglary, theft

City police are investigating a burglary and theft that took place at two locations in Forest Lake during the past week.

The burglary was reported on March 23 by an apartment resident in the 500 block of SW Apartment Lane.

According to police reports, a Playstation II and 14 games with total value of $1170 were stolen from the apartment. The crime was reported at 3:23 p.m. when the resident returned home, police said.

The theft report came on March 20 from the 8700 block of 212th St. N.

The homeowner told police that sometime during the previous two or three days a portable generator valued at $900 was stolen from the deck of the home.
