2002 Fogarty Studio Putt for Art is June 2 The Terrence Fogarty Studio, located at 711 Centennial Dr., in Forest Lake, is taking registrations for the 2002 Celebrity Putt for Art Golf Classic. The event is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 2, a the Tournament Greens at the National Sports Center in Blaine. This is a putting-only course. Cost is $45 per person, which includes 18 holes of putting golf, lunch, a t-shirt and prizes. There also will be a silent auction for items such as autographed sports memorabilia, autographed photos, gift certificates and more. A celebrity is at each hole for participants to compete against. Celebrities at last yearís classic included Gophers hockey announcer Wally Shaver, Minnesota Wild defenseman Willie Mitchell, radio and TV personallity Mike Woodley and several others. Registration forms are available at the studio or by calling 651-982-0200. Hole sponsorship also is available at a cost of $150, which includes one paid registration, advertising and one of seven different signed and numbered, limited edition prints from the Terrence Fogarty Studio. Horse show is June 8 at Dead Broke There is a open ranch horse show scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, at the Dead Broke Arena in Hugo. Melin records hole-in-one at Falcon Ridge Jerry Melin of Lindstrom scored a hole-in-one on Sunday, May 5, at Falcon Ridge Golf Course in Stacy. Melin used a 7-iron to ace the 143-yard, par-3, second hole on the executive course. High school rodeo finals are June 21-23 The Minnesota high school rodeo finals are scheduled for June 21-23 at the Dead Broke Arena in Hugo. Qualified high school contestants will be competing for team honors to represent Minnesota at the national high school rodeo finals.
