Posted: 5/14/02 2 more coaches not returning next seasonBerk Brown Forest Lake Senior High Activities Director Don Boschís to-do-list continues to get larger in respect to finding head coaches. Besides the recent resignations from boys head hockey coach Jim Young and girls head basketball coach Jen Hesse, two other head coaches recently resigned their positions. Jay Stadler will not return as the head alpine ski coach for the Rangers while head girls swimming and diving coach Jen Debe also has relinquished her coaching duties. Stadler, whose boys team reached the state meet last season, resigned to be able to spend more time with his family. ìI wrestled with this decision for most of the season and with the great success we had, it made this decision even more difficult,î Stadler said. ìI loved coaching this team. The kids were great and we learned together and had fun together. I will miss it, but I believe stepping back from coaching is the best thing for myself and my family at this point in our lives.î Debe currently is out on leave and she and her husband are expecting their second child. She too, Bosch said, wanted to be able to spend more time with her family. |
