Hospital board to discuss lease issue

How the Memorial Hospital District should proceed with any changes to the lease/affiliation agreement with Fairview will be a topic for the hospital board when it meets at 7 p.m., Monday, May 6.

The meeting will take place in the classroom area of the former District Memorial Hospital.

The hospital board is expected to discuss the current Fairview lease and affiliation and the possible sale of the Memorial Hospital District property in Forest Lake to Fairview earlier than previously agreed.

A review and discussion of Fairviewís response to a hospital board letter in January is expected. There will also be discussion with the hospital board attorney regarding the question of conflict of interest raised by a board member.
