Ground broken for Birchwood Arbors

The golden shovels were out for a groundbreaking celebration for Birchwood Arbors, an assisted living facility scheduled for completion in December, 2002. Birchwood Arbors will be a three story, 46 unit assisted living building, attached to the north end of Birchwood Health Care Center by an above ground hallway near the chapel. Rent, for a 1 bedroom apartment, three meals a day and nurse on call, are expected to be $2400 a month.
