Kids Day America celebrated May 11 in FL

Lakewoods Chiropractic, Forest Lake, is planning the second annual Kids Day America International.

Kids Day is a national event which is dedicated to changing childrenís lives throughout the community. This year, the event will be celebrated on Saturday, May 11 at Lakewoods Chiropractic office in Schilling Plaza, 255 Highway 97, Forest Lake.

The day is committed to educating children about child health, disease prevention, public safety and environmental awareness.

The Forest Lake Police Department will be on hand offering free fingerprinting and free child ID cards. McGruff the crime dog also will be making a special appearance.

The Forest Lake Fire Department will be on hand with the smokehouse demonstration and fire truck on display.

Other events include free dental checks, free kids spinal checks, water safety programs, ìHalf Pintî the clown, Ronald McDonald and his magic show as well as a special appearance by Mayor Ray Daninger and members of the city council.
