A new look for the principal

Marc Peterson, principal at Southwest Junior High School, is more than a man of his word. When the staff at Southwest challenged Grade 8 students to improve their overall scores in state math and reading tests, Peterson promised to spend a day on the roof if the goal was met. On May 1, with positive test scores in hand, Peterson kept his pledge and worked on the school's roof. But Peterson took the pledge one additional step by agreeing to have his hair cut. Peterson's much longer locks gave way to this military style haircut, crafted by Wyoming barber Russ Mansmith.
