Kids Safety Camp in FL is June 18-19

The Forest Lake Police Department will sponsor its annual Kids Safety Camp in June, Chief of Police David Schwartz said this week.

Chief Schwartz has announced the departmentís annual Kids Safety Camp is scheduled on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 18-19.

Registration is now open for the camp which usually fills fast, he said. The camp is designed for kids in grades 2-6. Registration fee is $15. Scholarships are available.

The camp will include numerous safety courses, a bike rodeo and many fun activities. Lunch is served both days by the Forest Lake Lions Club.

Registration packets are available at the police department, 220 N. Lake St., the Forest Lake Area Youth Service bureau, Ottomeyer Chiropractic Clinic and Fairview Lakes Regional Medical Center in Wyoming.
