Potter film will have 2 screens at Lake 5 in FL

Fans of all ages who are preparing for this weekís debut of the second Harry Potter film wonít have far to go to see the flick.

Two screens at Lake 5 Theatre, 1480 S. Lake St., located next to Northland Mall, will be devoted to this Fridayís national opening of ìHarry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets.î

The major opening is one of a number of big screen openings planned here, said Stephanie Warren, manager.

On Friday, Nov. 22, the theatre will debut the next James Bond movie, ìDie Another Day.î

For fans awaiting the next Lord of the Rings film, it will be on the screen here on Dec. 18, Warren said.

For this Fridayís big Harry Potter opening, the 2 hour and 45 minute movie will have show times of 12:50 p.m., 1:30, 4:30, 5, 7:45 and 8:15.

Advance sale tickets will be sold to avoid lines, Warren said.

Warren, who joined the staff in early September, said she is finding Lake 5 Theatre a fun place to work.

ìItís a fun theatre to work at and has so many expansion possibilities,î she said. ìWe want to get the crowds back in here.î

Lake 5 Theatre opened under new management this summer.

Under Warrenís direction, the theatre is also promoting its holiday gift certificates at $10 for movie tickets and concessions.

VIP tickets at 10 for $40, a $20 savings, are also being offered to businesses and individuals for use as gifts for clients, prospective clients, employees or awards.
