Annual fall band concert is Nov. 25

The Forest Lake High School Bands will present their annual fall concert on Monday Nov. 25. The Concert Band, Symphonic Winds and Jazz Ensemble will be featured on the program. Repertoire featured on the concert will include works by Grainger, Chance, Copeland, Shostakovich and Bernstein.

Some of the concert programming will also be included on the bandís program to be presented on their European Concert-Study Tour later this year. A special finale selection will conclude the program.

The Forest Lake bands are in the 75th season. Conductors of theÝbands are Richard Hahn, Benjamin Chamberlain and Justin Lindgren. Chamberlain is in his first year at Forest Lake High School, Lindgren is a student teacher from Bethel College, and Hahn is in his 23rd year as director of bands at Forest Lake High School.

The concert will be in the Forest Lake High School Auditorium. Admission is free.
