Old Settlerís Picnic is Sept. 22

Itís time to make plans to attend this yearís Old Settlerís Picnic. The 2002 event is scheduled for noon, Sunday, Sept. 22 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wyoming. The annual reunion is a potluck event. This yearís picnic will pay honor to all military personnel, past and present.

ìWe want to honor and remember all who have served their country and protected the freedoms we enjoy today,î said Myles Giese of Wyoming, an event planner.

Guests attending the Sept. 22 picnic are asked to bring photo albums and mementoes to post on bulletin boards or on display tables. Guests are asked to bring a dish to share as part of the potluck meal. Juice, coffee, rolls, dishes and silverware will be provided.
