Patriotism in Scandia Taco Daze parade

The annual Taco Daze celebration in Scandia is a time to enjoy tacos, but also a time for some good old-fashioned flag waving. This year, as the nation prepares to observe the first anniversary of 9/11, a patriotic theme was the centerpiece of the annual parade last Saturday. The representatives of Scandia Cafe, above, were decked out for the day as usual, but with U.S. flags.
