Wyoming has mayor, council race

City of Wyoming voters will have local decisions to make during the Wyoming City Council election on Nov. 5. When filings closed on Tuesday, Sept. 10, races were found for mayor and council.

Incumbent Mayor Vern Haag is being challenged by Joe Zerwas for the two-year term.

For the two four-year council terms on the ballot, four candidates have filed. They include incumbent Paul Raduenz, Jason Hopkins, Martin English and Ted Phillips. The two top vote getters win seats. Current Council member Ed Andler will not seek reelection. Karen Chapin will run unopposed for the city of Wyoming seat on the Chisago Lakes Hospital District Board.
