Posted: 9/25/02 CLAC offers program for teachersTeachers of children with disabilities are welcome to take part in a one-day seminar sponsored by the Chisago Lakes Achievement Center. The program will take place Tuesday, Oct. 8 at the Super 8 Motel in North Branch. The session is the third in a series of four special programs offered by CLAC, said Jerome Djam, director. Special guests and speakers for the teacher retreat include: Lorien Parson, St. Croix River Education District, Rush City, retreat facilitator; Dr. Barbara Troolin, director of special services, South Washington County Schools; Sue Benolken, state program coordinator, Minnesota Department of Human Services; Dr. Brian Abery, program director, Institute on Community Integration, University of Minnesota.
