Tennis team drops pair

Forest Lake went 0-2 in a pair of girls tennis matches last week.

Coon Rapids defeated the Rangers 5-2 on Wednesday, Aug. 28, and Centennial beat Forest Lake 5-2 on Thursday, Aug. 29.

In the loss to Coon Rapids, Forest Lakeís Paige Patchin was ahead 7-5, 1-0 at No. 2 singles before winning by default and Aleksandra Kojic won 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 at No. 3 singles.

In the loss to Centennial, Jenny Kling took a 6-2, 6-4 victory at No. 1 singles for the Rangers while Forest Lakeís No. 1 doubles team of Katie Anderson and Emily Morrison won 7-6 (7-4), 6-1.
