FFA hosts annual horse show Saturday at Dead Broke Arena in Hugo

Hugoís Dead Broke Arena will be the setting again this year for the annual Forest Lake FFA Horse Show. This yearís event is on top Saturday starting at 9 a.m. The event is sponsored in partnership by the FFA chapter and the horsemanship class at the high school.

Thirty-two classes ranging from showmanship to English and western pleasure classes will be offered during the day-long horse show in junior, intermediate and senior competition. Bob Jones will judge the event which operates under WSCA rules. The horse show is an educational activity to develop knowledge and skills for young people who are interested in horses and showing horses and to the organizational skills for the students who plan and work the show event.
There is a $2 entry fee for all classes. Spectators are admitted free. Concessions will be sold by the FFA.
