Strut Your Stuff car show set at Maranatha Aug. 23

Tires will be burning and the classic cars will be shining when Maranatha Church has its annual show Saturday, Aug. 23.

The annual Strut Your Stuff Car Show and Burnout will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the church.

Admission is $3. Children under 12 are free.

The 17th annual car show will offer plenty of tire-spinning action during the burnout. The church grounds will contain a large selection of antique cars and street rods.

All vehicles are welcome at the show. The car entry fee to the show is $10 for race cars, street rods, stock cars, street machines, custom cars, trucks, motorcycles and pro-motorcycles.

The day-long event will provide trophies in all classes.

The event will include food stands, activities for adults and children, T-shirts, video presentations and door prizes.

The awards ceremony is at 3:30 p.m.

Maranatha Church is at 24799 Forest Blvd. (US-61) between Forest Lake and Wyoming.
