Faith Lutheran leads school supply drive

Free school supplies for needy families are available again this year at Faith Lutheran Church. Supplies will be available to pick up 4-6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25.

Families of Faith is looking for those who need assistance getting school supplies for their children. Individuals who know of families whose unemployment or financial hardships might make it difficult to purchase school supplies are encouraged to stop by the Faith Lutheran Church office to fill out a short form about the child in need.

Individuals also may request school supplies by calling Jaci or Mike Wright at 462-3489, Cheryl or Mike Smoczyk at 462-5272, Clare or Todd Proulx at 462-3400 or Don or DeeAnn Berger at 462-3663. Names will remain confidential.

Persons interested in donating supplies may pick up a form at the church office to help a specific child. Extra school supplies or gifts of money can be dropped off at the church to help the efforts. Cash donations will be used to purchase supplies locally. Checks made out to Faith Lutheran Church, with school supplies on the memo line, will be gratefully accepted.
