Hunting

The Lino Lakes Police along with the DNR and Anoka County Parks Department will be holding an informational meeting at the Lino Lakes City Hall Community Room on Sept. 9 at 7 p.m.

Lino Lakes Police Department will be covering topics pertaining to the cityís hunting related ordinances as well as state laws. Anoka County Parks Department will be covering hunting issues within the boundaries of the Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Regional Park. A Minnesota DNR conservation officer will be present to cover state and federal hunting laws. Along with the review of hunting laws, ATV and snowmobile laws and ordinances will also be covered.

The agencies involved in this meeting have pulled together to provide factual information to the hunters and residents of Lino Lakes before the hunting season begins in an attempt to alleviate some of the concerns expressed by residents and individuals utilizing the outdoors to make this a safe and enjoyable hunting season.
