Next school board meeting is Sept. 8

The next meeting of the ISD 831 Board of Education will take place on Monday, Sept. 8 at the District Office Building, 6100 N. 210th St. The 7 p.m. meeting was moved back one week because of the Labor Day holiday on Monday, Sept. 1. With the start of school set for Tuesday, Sept. 2, the school board elected to delay the meeting until the following Monday to ease some of the pressure on the administration. Traditionally, the school board has met on the Tuesday following Labor Day, but this year the board agreed in delaying the meeting one full week. A listening session for the public will take place as always at 6 p.m. on Sept. 8.
