A Wyoming youth will have his chance at a big break in the entertainment industry early next year.Adrian Santini, 9, the son of Valerie and George Santini, has been selected to take part in the International Modeling Talent Association ìHooray for Hollywoodî competition Jan. 5-11 in California. Adrianís father will be making the trip west with his son.
Adrian, a fourth-grade student at Wyoming Elementary School, will represent Caryn International Model and Talent Center, Minneapolis.
During the Jan. 5-11 convention, Adrian and budding actors from across the country will be seen by the IMTA. The IMTA consists of 300 major modeling and talent agents, casting directors, producers and personal managers from major cities around the world.
Many of the faces seen today in movies, magazines, television commercials, soap operas, sitcoms and high-fashion runway shows received their start through IMTA.
During his stay in Los Angeles, Adrian will be placed in the IMTAís ìDouble Marketî and will take part in 15 competitions.
The competitions will include: TV real people (commercial), monologue, cold read, soaps, theatrical headshots, sitcoms, commercial print, close-up, fashion print, runway swimwear, TV beauty (commercial), jeans and team runway.
At age 9, Adrian will compete in the 9-12 age category.
