Class is fund-raiser for Spanish trip

An adult education Spanish language class is being offered as a fund-raiser for students from Southwest Junior High who are planning to travel to Spain in the spring of 2004. Mary Windsor, a Spanish teacher at Southwest, is organizing and teaching the adult education class. The one-time class will be offered from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 16 in Room 102 at Southwest. Cost of the class is $25. The class will include a basic introduction to Spanish language and will include popular and commonly used phrases. To register for the class, contact Marlene Nelson in Community Education at 651-982-8110. The $25 class fee will go directly to the students traveling to Spain.
