CPR presents ëGodís Giftí

Christian Puppet Revival, the puppet ministry at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Wyoming has a gift for the community. They will be presenting ìGodís Gift,î a puppet show of the Christmas story, at metro area churches this holiday season.

Recalling the legend animals can speak on Christmas Eve, ìGodís Giftî tells the story of Christmas through the animalsí eyes.

It is a back-by-popular-demand show, said Tony Lee, director of CPR.

ìWe did it last year and had so many requests to do it again,î Lee said after a recent practice.

The show takes place in a familyís barn on Christmas Eve. As the animals speak with a human voice on the magical night, the story of Christmas is told through puppetry.

ìItís the Christmas story told from the perspective of animals in the barn,î Lee said.

About 30 youth and adults work to bring the story to life. It is an important story, Lee said, amidst the commercialism of the holiday.

ìIt gets people to focus on the real meaning of Christmas,î he said.
