Temte decision is tabled once again

By a unanimous council vote Tuesday night, a decision about disciplinary action for Wyoming Police Chief Mike Temte was tabled until March 3.

Council members received information from Temteís attorney three hours prior to Tuesdayís council meeting and deemed the time inadequate to read or consider proposals.

Temteís attorney said the council decision was 'very fair and very wise.î If an agreement can be reached sooner, a special meeting may be announced.

A crowd of about 40 people attended the Tuesday night meeting and most were in support of Temte. Most left shortly after action on this matter was tabled.
