CareWise Health Fair returns to FL Aug. 3

Senior citizens take note: the CareWise Health Fair is returning to Forest Lake on Sunday, Aug. 3.

ìChoice for Independenceî is the theme for the 2003 health fair.

Once again, the Forest Lake Community Senior Center, 767 SW 4th St., will host the event. The health fair will be in operation from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event is designed to provide resources for seniors and their families. The three-hour health fair will include information booths, a chair massage, prize wheel and free food and beverages.

The health fair will also feature a nutritionist, optometrist and chiropractor. Hearing services tests, blood pressure checks and blood sugar testing will be offered.

This yearís event is sponsored by Community Education of the Forest Lake Area Schools, Forest Lake Senior Center, Elder Haven LLC and the Columbus Senior Center.
