Lindstrom Loppett schedualed for July 12

ANNUAL LINDSTROM LOPPET
5K WALK/RUN SCHEDULED JULY 12

Attention all runners and walkers! The 15th annual Karl Oskar Days Lindstrom Loppet 5K walk/run will take place at 8 a.m. Saturday, July 12, at Chisago Lakes Free Church on Olinda
Trail in Lindstrom. Registration will open at 7 a.m.

Fairview Lakes Regional Health Care hosts the annual event that has become a highlight of Lindstrom's annual Karl Oskar Days celebration. Walkers and runners of all ages are invited to take part. Medals are awarded to males and females in ten age categories ranging from 10 years of age and under to age 70 and over as well as to the top male and female runners overall.

Registration forms are now available at the Fairview Chisago Lakes Clinic in Chisago City, Fairview Lakes Regional Medical Center information desk in Wyoming, and Wally Carlson and Sons in Lindstrom. The entry fee is $12 in advance or $15 on race day. A reduced fee of $8 in advance or $10 on the day of the race is offered for runners age 13 and under. Each entrant receives a Loppet T-shirt.

For the first time this year, proceeds of the Loppet are designated for mentoring programs in the Chisago Lakes Area Schools as well as for health care scholarships and low-cost bike helmets.
