Lakeside Park was rockin'

Lakeside Memorial Park in Forest Lake was rockiní to the music of The Rockiní Hollywoods last Friday and a large crowd was on hand to enjoy a beautiful night. The band was in fine form and the crowd enjoyed the music. While the band was playing, Ric Schmidt, Forest Lake, spent his time blowing up balloons and making toys for a long line of kids. ìItís just a hobby,î Schmidt said. But the kids loved them. Here one of Schmidtís daughters, Taylor Lafferty, 10, left, and neighbor Sherri Morrison, 12, show off their creative balloon hats.
