And down they come

Construction crews made short work of several downtown store fronts on Wednesday, June 4. The demolition was required to allow work to begin on the second phase of the three-story Park Place development on the south end of N. Lake St. in Forest Lake. The Van Wirt Building was the last to fall. Earlier, demolition crews knocked down what had been Dona Le's Cafe and the Balloon Shop for a number of years here.
