Cutting Edge Skating Association is planning a special celebration for its 10th anniversary at its annual figure skating show on Saturday, March 8, and Sunday March 9, at the Chisago Lakes Ice Arena.

Approximately 100 skaters will take part in the show, which will feature the best numbers from past shows combined into one performance.

This year, the show will feature a pair of guest skaters who are among the very best in their age divisions.

Junior high skater Stephanie Zastrow will be a guest skater, as will be Jackie Loughrey, a high school skater. Although both Zastrow and Loughrey have advanced to the very highest of skating levels, they each got their start at Cutting Edge Skating Association and CESAís Keith Olson said heís thrilled to have them for the show.

The show on Saturday, March 8, will take place at 7 p.m. while the Sunday, March 9, show is scheduled for 2 p.m. Each show is the same.

Tickets are $4 in advance or $5 at the door. Kids under the age of 5 are free.

Tickets are available at Forest Lake Cycle and Skate, the law offices of Tim Peterson in Chisago or by calling Olson at 651-464-5087.

ìIt keeps getting better every year,î Olson said of the show.

Cutting Edge Skating Association is for skaters of all levels and ages. They conduct lessons on a wide variety of days at a variety of times. They also will have lessons in March at the SuperRink in Blaine if there is enough interest.
