A day to pray in Forest Lake

Citizens from throughout the Forest Lake area gathered at Lakeside Memorial Park in Forest Lake at on Thursday to offer prayers for their country, the armed forces, all levels of government, schools, families, the clergy and the media. It was the 11th annual local event for the National Day of Prayer observance. Woody Craig of North Branch, a former Forest Lake resident, raised his hand to the Lord during a time of prayer. More than 200 area residents attended the event which this year featured participation by veterans from American Legion Post 225 in Forest Lake. (Photo By Cliff Buchan)
