FL girls track wins true team section title

The Forest Lake girls track team ñÝafter finishing second to White Bear Lake in each of the last two seasons ñÝeasily outdistanced the Bears for the team championship at the Section 5AAA true team meet Tuesday.

Forest Lake finished the meet with a score of 622.5 points, while White Bear Lake was second with 555.5 and North St. Paul was third with 432.5.

Forest Lake, which lost out on the team title by three points last year and one point the year before, will now take part in the state true team meet on Friday, May 16, at the National Sports Center in Blaine.
