Raising old glory at Linwood Elementary

With military veterans from the area looking on Tuesday, students in Mike Knoxís Grade 5 class at Linwood Elementary School raised old glory in a dignified salute on Veteransí Day. The flag raising is a daily ritual at the school and Tuesdayís program was a lead in to a special veteransí recognition program that was conducted by students in Grade 4 classes. Members of the American Legion Post 225 color guard were on hand to assist with the flag-raising ceremony. (Photo By Cliff Buchan)
