Bergeson, Carlson, Stoltz gain election bids to Lino Lakes City Council

Lino Lakes Mayor John Bergeson was re-elected to the Lino Lakes City Council, unopposed. He polled 3547 votes.

Three candidates were seeking two posts on the Lino Lakes City Council: incumbent Donna Carlson and two newcomers, Daniel Stoltz and Scott Robinson. Stoltz was the top vote getter of council candidates with 2454 votes. Carlson gained re-election with 2339 votes. Unsuccessful in his bid, Robinson tallied 2039 votes.

Voters by more than a 2 to 1 margin rejected a question seeking $3.6 million for street maintenance and improvement monies. The vote was 3151 no and 1413 yes.
