Hopkins Jaycees cancel street dance

The Hopkins Jaycees have decided against hosting a street dance. The Jaycees said it was the cost which caused the cancellation of what was designed to be a fund-raising activity. The dance was scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 11 in Lakeside Memorial Park. The fishing contest is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 7 with Saturday, Feb. 21 as the back up date.
