Hopkins Jaycees dance Oct. 11 is off

The Hopkins Jaycees have decided against hosting a street dance this Friday night in Forest Lake. The Jaycees said it was the cost which caused the cancellation of what was designed to be a fund-raising activity. The dance was scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 11 in Lakeside Memorial Park. The Jaycee-sponsored fishing contest is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004 with Saturday, Feb. 21 as the back up date in the event of a postponement on Feb. 7.
