Manney named pediatrics fellow

Pediatrician Sarah Manney, D.O., of Fairview Lakes Lino Lakes Clinic, 7455 Village Dr., has been designated as a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. To qualify for this designation, a physician in the U.S. must have received initial certification in pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics, or the American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics. Fellows of the AAP are recognized by their colleagues as demonstrating excellence in training leading to board certification as well as high ethical and professional principles and conduct. The AAP has more than 60,000 members of which over 40,000 have earned the designation of Fellow. The mission of the American Academy of Pediatrics is to attain optimal physical, mental and social health and well-being for all infants, children, adolescents and young adults.
