Fairview doctor on national assembly

David Moen, M.D., medical director of emergency services at Fairview Lakes Regional Medical Center, Wyoming, is one of five physicians selected to represent Minnesota at the American College of Emergency Physicians National Scientific Assembly to be held in San Francisco in October. Moen served as chief of emergency services at Fairview Riverside Hospital in Minneapolis prior to assuming the position of medical director of emergency and urgent care for Fairview Lakes Regional Health Care in 1996. He also provides medical direction for Lakes Region EMS, the community-based provider of ambulance services in Chisago County. The national assembly will consider changes to the American College of Emergency Physicians current bylaws and discuss the organizationís future strategic direction. Homeland security topics will be agenda items.
