DARLYNE GLAZE

Darlyne Glaze, 69, of Bellevue, WA, died at a hospice in Seattle on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2004, surrounded by her family.

She was born at District Memorial Hospital in Forest Lake in 1934 to Raymond W. LaMotte and Elizebeth (Dolly) Pastorius LaMotte. She grew up in Hugo and graduated from White Bear Lake High School in 1952. She graduated Summa cum Laude in 1956 from the College of St. Scholastica. In 1956 she married David Glaze at St. John the Baptist Church in Hugo and moved to the state of Washington. Since 1963 they have made their home in Bellevue where she was very active in the community and in her parish church, St. Louise Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents.

In addition to her husband, David, Darlyne is survived by her sons Raymond, Douglas (Jan-Marie), Patrick (Donna), and Daniel (Mary) and five grandchildren; Alexander, Aidan, Samuel, Colin and Faith.

Funeral services were held at St. Louise Catholic Church Monday, Aug. 30, 2004, with burial at Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA. Relatives and friends may share memories and sign the familyís online guest book at www.flintofts.com.
