Seven candidates, including the three incumbents, have filed for posts on Wyoming City Council, the city reported.The filing period for the Nov. 2 election closed at 5 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 7.
Three candidates have filed for the two-year term of mayor. Mayor Vernon Haag is seeking reelection. Challengers are Sheldon Anderson and Joe Zerwas.
Two four-year city council terms will also be on the ballot Nov. 2.
Incumbents Lynn Koalska and Sandra Standridge have both filed for reelection.
Also in the council race are city residents Allen Juneau and Thomas Labarre.
