With the filing deadline passing at 5 p.m. Tuesday, four more candidates have joined the list of residents seeking election to Forest Lake City Council. The late filings not reported in an earlier website story are:īBruce Anderson, mayor, two-year term.
īRonald Hammer, mayor, two-year term.
īMichelle Hagert, council, four-year term.
īRichard Tschida, council, four-year term.
The late filings increase the field of candidates for mayor to five. Two council seats are up for election and nine candidates will contest for the two slots.
Other candidates for mayor include: John (Tom) Lynch, a current member of council; Lloyd Nelson, a former town board member in Forest Lake; and Terry Smith, a former city councilman.
Other candidates for council include: former Councilwoman Judy Bull, Tom Anderson, Jerome Balsimo, Raymond "Bo" Bogoty, Eric Langness, Gregory Ochs and Ronald Schaffer.
