Revised school calendar adopted

A revised school calendar for the 2004-2005 year has now been adopted. The school board on April 5 voted to adopt the revised calendar. The revision was necessary as part of the recently settled contract for teachers that resulted in the reduction of teacher duty days from 188 to 187. One teacher workday prior to the start of school on Tuesday, Sept. 7 has been eliminated. The number of student contact days during the upcoming school year does not change.
