Nelson endorsed for 17B reelection

Rep. Pete Nelson, R-Lindstrom, has been endorsed for his reelection bid to the House of Representatives from District 17B. Nelson received a unanimous endorsement Thursday, April 1 from Chisago County party members. ìI want to thank everyone in Chisago County and District 17B,î Nelson said. ìIt is an honor to serve here and I hope to represent the district for many years to come.î Nelson serves on the transportation policy, transportation finance and tax committees. As a member of two transportation committees, Nelson was instrumental in last year's $3.8 billion transportation funding package.
