6th District DFL convention April 17

Minnesota Attorney General Mike Hatch will give the keynote address at the Sixth Congressional District DFL Banquet at 5 p.m., Saturday, April 17 at the Monticello Community Center. The banquet will follow the Sixth District convention, where a candidate for Congress will be endorsed. Janet Robert is the only announced candidate seeking Democratic Farmer Labor Party endorsement for the U.S House of Representatives in the Sixth District, which extends from central Stearns County, across the northern Twin Cities suburbs, all the way to the Minnesota-Wisconsin border in Washington County. Delegates to the Sixth District DFL convention were elected at their county or Senate District conventions earlier this month. The public is welcome to attend both events, although reservations are required for the banquet.
