Internist joins Fairview Lakes staff
Carlos Adams, M.D., recently became the newest member of the staff in the Internal Medicine Clinic at Fairview Lakes Regional Medical Center at Wyoming. The son of an internal medicine physician, Dr. Adams grew up in St. Paul. He attended both St. Olaf and Macalester colleges, before entering the Meharry Medical College School of Medicine in Nashville, TN., where he graduated with honors in 2001. He completed his internal medicine residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. Adams met his wife, Lucy Palomino, M.D., while both were attending medical school in Nashville. A native of Houston, Texas, Dr. Palomino is an emergency physician at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville. Dr. Adams said he chose to join Fairview Lakes Regional Health Care because of the commitment he saw to providing the best possible care, ์and I liked the sense of a more personable atmosphere for patients as well.๎
