The ride of a lifetime in Wyoming

When the circus comes to town it usually means fun. Barney Rieck, a local business owner and an officer in the Wyoming Fire Department, didn't let Tuesday's visit of the Bailey Brothers Circus slip by without taking the ride of a lifetime. Prior to the 5 p.m. performance Tuesday, Rieck hopped on top of Big Queenie, the 35-year-old circus elephant for a ride. And the firefighter looked right at home, too. Mike Swain is the elephant trainer. The circus visit in Wyoming was hosted on the grounds of Hallberg Marine and sponsored by the Wyoming Fire Department and Wyoming Park Board as a local fund-raiser.
